Lemon Mango Refresher

 

This Mango Lemon Refresher is a favorite drink of mine!

If you are like me and love lemons and mangoes, this drink is for you.
It was a hot summer day when I first made this drink, but I can drink it all year. It is that good!
The best part is that it is healthy!
Mangoes were a fruit that I never remembered trying until later in my life.
The taste was not love at first sight, but they have grown on me, and I love them now! I do not know how I ever lived without them as my beverage go-to fruit.

You want to be sure that the mango you choose is ripe and sweet. The sweeter, the better because this drink has no added sugar. Which is one of the reasons I love it so much! Sweetening my drinks and foods with fruits rather than sugar is a good habit to get into.

 

My 7 and 5-year-old children even enjoy drinking this. As a mom, I am so glad they want to drink it! The yogurt gives kids excellent protein and calcium.

 

  You will feel good about serving this to your guests not just because it’s healthy but also because it tastes yummy.

Here is what you need:

1 Cup Fresh Sweet Mango

Juice From 1 Lemon

1 Cup Plain Yogurt

About a 1/2 Cup of Ice

**The most important thing to remember is that you need to use a mango that is ripe and sweet. **

What you need to do:

Cut up the mango.

Squeeze the lemon and remove the seeds.

Place all the fruit in the mixer.

 Add the plain yogurt

Dump in ice chunks.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth.

Enjoy!
