Easy Home Fabric Wreath

I love this Easy Fabric wreath on my front door!

It adds so much color and creates a warm welcome feeling.

Years ago, my aunt made me one of these types of wreaths.   It was made with three different fabrics.  The colors were navy blue, mauve, and hunter green to match my bedroom.  It was so pretty!

This wreath makes an excellent gift that is so easy and quick to make!

I like how forgiving it is and that you cannot mess it up.  🙂 You are not going to get frustrated, which is fantastic.🙃

It is not relaxing or fun when you are trying to make something and can’t get it to work. You get discouraged thinking of all the money you spent on supplies, and you will not have anything to show for it!

You will have a beautiful wreath when you make this one.  So let’s get busy!

Items you needed:

– Styrofoam ring in the size you desire.

-Fabric or fabrics of your choice.  The amount needed depends on the size of your ring and how tightly you squeeze the fabric.

-Pinking shears for nice cut edges.

-Phillips screw driver.

-A wreath door hanger.

It gives me such satisfaction to decorate my home.  I love to make it look warm and inviting.

You do not need loads of money to make a house a home. 🙂  It just takes a willingness to work, creativity, and thrifty shopping to get you on your way.

The butterfly and the fabric I purchased at my favorite thrift store!

What to do:

Cut out squares with the pinking shears.  Size them to be about 2 1/2″ to 3 ” squares.

Use the screwdriver to push each square into the foam ring until it is completely covered.  You do not need to cover the back of the wreath.

Happy creating,  Christina 🙂
