Caramel Cheesecake Brownies

Not only are these brownies delicious, but they look amazing set out on the table! They are great for a simple family night dessert or a more elegant celebration.

The recipe, at first glance, looks like a lot of ingredients and work, but it really is very easy. You should not have a bit of trouble with this one! 🙂

Ingredients You Will need:

1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter

Caramel Cream Cheese
20 Caramel candy squares
1 1/2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
8-ounce fat-free cream cheese
8-ounce Neufchatel cream cheese
1/2 cup chocolate chips for melting

What You Will Need To Do:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan
3. Mix flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, salt, cocoa, and sugar
4. In separate bowl beat with mixer vanilla extract, eggs, and butter
5. Mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients then fold in the chocolate chips
6. Spread mixture into your 9 x 13 pan

Caramel Cream Cheese Layer-

1. Melt your caramel candies with the 1 1/2 tablespoons water
2. With a mixer beat your eggs, cream cheese, and sugar
3. Mix the melted caramel into the cream cheese mixture
4. After blended well, spread cream cheese mixture on top of brownie batter
5. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes
6. Meanwhile, melt your chocolate chips for drizzle

Cool and chill in the refrigerator until completely cold.   Relax and enjoy!
