DIY Holiday Felt Gift Cards

Make Your Own Cards!

Fun For kids and they look adorable!

Felt is so easy to work with and perfect for decorating these Christmas cards.

I used what I had on hand, and they turned out cute!

I taped each card on top of Christmas presents. You do not need envelopes.  So easy and fun!

I like these better than the stick on gift tags, since they are bigger and more personal. Plus my kids enjoyed helping me make them.

Felt gives a warm cozy feel to crafts which I loved for this time of year!

Supplies I Used:

The kids and I made some to look like a post card and a couple we made like a standard folded card.

-White colored pencil made the perfect stars on the colored card stock. They looked cool on the black card stock paper!

-I cut apart Self-Stick Gem Sheets to decorate the trees and snowmen buttons.

-The stick-on black and white lettering added the perfect touch for Mimi.

-We used fun pattern scissors to cut our card stock and construction paper. This gave it a fun edge and kept everything tidy.

-A hot glue gun was used to secure everything down except for  the items that came with self stick backing. I did the hot gluing for the kids. **Be very careful because glue guns are extremely hot and not suited for children without supervision.**

These cards  are simple for kids to make  and look so festive.   Many times we can stress with trying to buy everything for the holiday season,  when we should be trying to keep things stress free.  The gifts mean so much more,  and usually look way better, when you add some homemade personal touches.   You might not have all the supplies I had on hand, but I am sure you have some supplies you could use to make your own felt gift cards.  Be creative and unique!
